Reliable surface processing on stainless steel
- Optimal contour adaptation: The crimped stainless steel wire flexes easily around complex workpiece shapes to deliver a consistent, fine finish.
- Corrosion-free stainless steel cleaning: The stainless wire prevents extraneous rust contamination when you clean weld seams and remove light burrs.
- Secure 6 mm shank mounting: You achieve smooth, controlled guidance across workpieces thanks to the solid 6 mm drive spindle.
With the Pferd rbu 3006/6 inox wheel brush, you can tackle tight spaces and compact workpieces with optimal control. The crimped, unknotted stainless steel wire with a 0.2 mm thickness adapts smoothly to complex contours, allowing you to clean weld seams, remove discoloration, and complete light deburring without aggressively cutting into the base metal. Because the wire filaments are made entirely of stainless steel, you avoid extraneous flash rust and corrosion contamination on stainless steel and non-ferrous workpieces. The solid 6 mm shank ensures a secure, low-vibration fit in straight grinders, drill machines, or flexible shafts. Rated for up to 20000 rpm, it delivers a consistent, fine surface finish every time.
Product description
- PFERD Wheel brush crimped RBU dia. 30x6 mm shank dia. 6 mm stainless steel wire dia. 0.20
Characteristics
- Generally suitable for cleaning, derusting, smoothing, cleaning of weld seams, light deburring, and removal of corrosion and paint
- In order to fulfil the particular requirements for working with stainless steel (INOX), PFERD uses wire quality 1,4310 (V2A) for all INOX brushes
- Practical experience from industry has shown that this offers very good corrosion resistance with an optimum tool life
- All PFERD brushes with INOX filaments are colour-coded in blue and are suitable for use on all stainless steels (INOX), such as V4A
- The wire quality 1,4310 tends to become ferromagnetic in the case of cold working; i
- E
- It can be attracted using magnets
- ;The reason for this is a change in the microstructure caused by deformation ( e.g. during the wire drawing process)
- This does not have any impact on the quality and corrosion resistance of the INOX filament
- The filament is still resistant to corrosion
- Stainless steel wire (INOX) withstands temperatures up to 450 °C
Advantages:
- Highly flexible, enabling optimal adjustment to the workpiece contour.
- Very good corrosion resistance.
- Creates fine surfaces.
